Arm is held in a functional position, with the elbow in 30° of flexion, the wrist in 30° of extension; and the sling positions the shoulder in neutral rotation to reduce subluxation. Joint compression is applied through the wrist, elbow and shoulder to help facilitate neurological return. Adjustable foam axillary pad for added comfort.
