AliMed® Turnbuckle Knee Orthosis helps maintain the gains in ROM achieved through stretching and brace wear. Steel rod and turnbuckle mechanism provide a low-load stretch to the joint to gradually reduce the contracture and increase the range of motion incrementally.
The turnbuckle can be quickly and easily adjusted with the splint in place for optimal positioning. New triangular design offers a better grip for ease of turning. Rigid Kydex® splint shell is hinged at the knee, with the turnbuckle connecting the thigh and calf portions. Use for knee contractures from 45º flexion to 10º hyperextension. Pads are terrycloth-lined for comfort. Fits left or right knee. Select seamless Warming Knee Sleeve for extra comfort (see Related Products tab above). Must be used under a physician's supervision.
